Mute and solo
In mix mode, shift + a track key mutes or unmutes that track and holding track keys solos them; instrument or auxiliary + a track key is a quick mute, and CC9 mutes over MIDI.
shows the mute state on the track keys and toggles it; holding track keys solos them; and or double as mute modifiers for their own group. A click on E4 mutes the selected track in arrange mode too. Mutes stop notes rather than cutting audio, so tails finish naturally.

Over MIDI, CC9 on a track's channel sets its mute as a level rather than a toggle — 0 unmutes, any value from 1 to 127 mutes.
