TE's safety notes for connecting, charging, temperature, cleaning and the battery, and what the 12-month warranty covers.
The two that catch people out: phantom power on a mixer or interface channel the OP-XY is plugged into, and charging from anything but plain 5 V USB.

Switch every device off before cabling them together; when you have to plug in while running, plug the lead into the OP-XY before the other device.

Never run a cable from the OP-XY's jacks into a microphone input with phantom power switched on; it can damage the unit.

Charge only from 5 V USB power, such as a computer's USB port or a USB charger.

Use the unit between 10 and 35 °C (50–95 °F) and store it between 0 and 35 °C (32–86 °F).

Wipe the shell with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry before use.

Do not charge or use a unit whose battery looks damaged; replacement batteries must come from TE and be fitted by qualified staff, and heat, fire or crushing can make a battery explode or leak.
