Phaser effect
A 12-pole phaser for FX I or FX II; M1 sets the centre frequency of the sweep, its depth, its rate and the feedback.
A phaser gives a sound a slow, swirling motion. Frequency places the sweep, depth sets how far it travels and rate how fast. With feedback low the effect is gentle; turned up it becomes a pronounced, whistling resonance. It suits pads, chords and hi-hats.

The phaser blends filtered copies of the sound with the dry signal; where the two are out of phase they cancel, which carves moving notches into the spectrum.
